<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air filter allowing fast replacement work on filter elements, and effectively preventing breakage of a bent portion of the filter elements. <P>SOLUTION: In the changeable air filter 1 comprising a body case 2 and a flat or foldable filter element to be attachably/detachably fitted in the body case 2, a fitting frame 4 comprising a seal part 4c on the upstream side in the thickness direction of the filter element, a fitting part 4a of an intermediate part, and a locking part 4b at an arbitrary position which is fitted to a fitting member 5 comprising an end piece 5c on the upstream side in the filter thickness direction disposed on the body case 2, a fitting part 5a of an intermediate part, and a locking part 5b at an arbitrary position is provided on two sides facing each other of the filter element 10 or two sides at both ends parallel to a folding side 7.
