PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker which can achieve higher temperature sensing accuracy by an infrared sensor while reducing the self heat generation of a metal member around the infrared sensor.
SOLUTION: The induction heating cooker is equipped with an infrared sensor 15 for detecting the intensity of infrared radiation from a loading pan 11, a waveguide 16 for guiding the infrared radiation from the loading pan to the infrared sensor, and a first magnetism shield means 19 and a second magnetism shield means 20 for reducing magnetic flux leakage from a heating coil 13. The waveguide 16 is arranged below the upper surface of the second magnetism shield means 20. Consequently, since the self heat generation of the waveguide 16 caused by the magnetic flux absorbed in the second magnetism shield means 20 from the heating coil 13 can be reduced, the temperature rise of the infrared sensor 15 due to heat radiation from the waveguide 16 also can be reduced, resulting in achieving higher temperature sensing accuracy by the infrared sensor 15.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
