<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that it is difficult to grasp which image is printed on which page in the conventional print application; that a user needs to print while guessing the print results; and that the requirement for printing with a simple operation and for obtaining print results quickly is not satisfied. <P>SOLUTION: The printing device is composed of a decode means and a print control means. The decode means decodes at least an image to be printed on the first page of the layout selected by the layout selection means, among a group of images selected by the image selection means, before giving a print execution command.
