PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording/reproducing method in a hybrid recording medium capable of infinitizing a RAM area of the hybrid recording medium by extending the RAM area which is a finite area into a recording area of another common recording medium. SOLUTION: In the information recording/reproducing method in the hybrid recording medium, content record information which is programs and data, and a RAM area extension identifier indicating recording and extension in another recording medium when contents become unrecordable are stored in the RAM area belonging to the hybrid recording medium.
