PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microlens array sheet having a high density light shielding layer, and provide its manufacturing method and a transfer sheet. SOLUTION: A coloring layer having tensile breakdown stress which is≤5Mpa is provided on one of the surfaces of a base material of the transfer sheet. Moreover, in the microlens array sheet manufacturing method, a photosensitive layer is formed on a flat surface of the microlens array sheet whose other surface is a microlens surface, ultraviolet rays are irradiated from one of the surfaces to harden the portions to which the ultraviolet rays are converged by the microlenses in the photosensitive layer, adhesiveness of the nolight-converged portions is maintained, the transfer sheet is superimposed and the coloring layer is press-fixed and peeled off to form a light shielding layer on the nolight-converging portions. The pull breaking stress of the light shielding layer of the microlens array sheet is set to≤5MPa. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
