PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clearing chain that, through improvements on known clearing chains, can display improved functions without giving any adverse effects to the hinged joint. SOLUTION: An end-face sliding track (18) for a lateral guide (9) is bent toward a guide joint (10) at the end (11) of the lateral guide (9) adjacent to the vertical guide (12). As a result, an acute angleαis produced with an extension line from the end-face sliding track (18) of the vertical guide (12), so that the clearing chain (1) becomes able to turn its direction only if it keeps contact with the end-face sliding track (18).
