PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for easily marking on a workpiece by the use of a die tool of a turret punch press. SOLUTION: The turret punch press 1 is equipped with a marking die (punch side) P for marking on one of surfaces of the workpiece W and a marking die (die side) D for marking on the other surface of the workpiece W on turret disks 7 and 9. It includes a means for positioning the dies P and D and the workpiece W on predetermined positions based on a control instruction and marking the workpiece W. The marking die (punch side) P and the marking die (die side) D have a pen inside respectively and bring the nib into contact with the workpiece W by a means for moving the pen up and down for marking.
