PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a passage of a wheelchair through the opening of a vehicle, or the like, when the wheelchair is fed in the vehicle, or the like, from the pallet of a lift for the wheelchair. SOLUTION: This lift 1 for the wheelchair B is composed of the pallet 2 on which the wheelchair B is placed and a lift mechanism 3 for raising and lowering the pallet 2 and equipped with a height reducing mechanism for reducing the height of the wheelchair B placed on the pallet 2.
