<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create an index print matched to a user's need. <P>SOLUTION: Templates corresponding to a plurality of formats of index print are displayed on a format selection screen 67. In each format, the frame number, the size of thumbnail image and image accessory information regulate the size of a printing area, a paper size or the like. The image accessory information to be printed to the index print is designated through an accessory information selection screen 76. The image accessory information includes a file name, a shooting date and time, a shooting condition, print order information, and the like. The format or image accessory information according to the user's desire is designated through these screens.
