METHOD OF MANUFACTURING GAS DIFFUSION LAYER FOR FUEL CELL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a gas diffusion layer for a fuel cell controlling the amount of penetrating a covering layer into a conductive porous substrate and having a smooth covering layer.

SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a gas diffusion layer for the fuel cell contains (a) a process filling an evanescent material into the conductive porous substrate; (b) a process forming the covering layer containing conductive particles on the conductive porous substrate; and (c) a process removing the evanescent material, in order of the processes (a) to (c).
