<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card with an electronic money card function and an electronic money deposit system allowing electronic money to be deposited without trouble, even when a remaining value of the electronic money in commodity purchase is smaller than a sales price of a purchase desired commodity, to the IC card with an electronic money card function having a credit card function at the same time. <P>SOLUTION: Card information including an electronic money remaining value is outputted to a POS terminal 2 in a store via a reading/writing device 4 from this IC card 10 having the electronic money card function and the credit card function. The POS terminal 2 executes credit confirmation to a credit confirmation center 8 via a leased line 6 when the electronic money remaining value in commodity purchase is smaller than the sales price of the purchase desired commodity, and increases the electronic money remaining value of the IC card 10 by depositing electronic money when credit is approved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
