<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED print head in which a light leaking in the direction of a wiring layer is prevented from becoming a noise component and assembling process is simplified by employing the same adhesive for bonding an LED array chip and a driver IC chip. <P>SOLUTION: The LED print head comprises a printed wiring board 2 provided with a wiring layer 6 on the surface of a substrate, an LED array chip 3 arranged with LED elements 12, a driver IC chip 4 arranged with driver elements for driving the LED elements 12 depending on print data, an insulating adhesive for bonding the LED array chip 3 and the driver IC chip 4 to the surface of the printed wiring board 2, and a bonding wire 8 for connecting the LED elements 12 with the driver elements and connecting them, respectively, with the wiring layer 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
