PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously generate and display a B flow image expressing flow information and a B mode image expressing tissue information. SOLUTION: A transmission and reception part 2 drives an ultrasonic probe 1 to transmit a plurality of ultrasonic pulses for generating the B flow image into the body of an examinee and receives ultrasonic echo corresponding to each ultrasonic pulse from the inside of the body of the examinee to prepare a received signal. A received signal storage part 3 stores the received signals. A B mode processing part 4 generates B mode image data from one of the received signals corresponding to the plurality of ultrasonic pulses.
