PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher in which a guide means can be miniaturized. SOLUTION: An elevating and lowering type door 7 is assembled with a certain degree of a margin to a washer body 2. As a result, at the time of elevating and lowering the door 7, the door 7 fluctuates in side directions and front and back directions relative to the washer body 2. By arranging second guide rail surfaces 55b and 56b so as to obliquely face the circular front surfaces 57b and 58b of guide rollers 57 and 58, fluctuation in the side directions is controlled. Thus, under the situation of vertically moving the door 7 slightly roughly, the door 7 is elevated and lowered while the peripheral edges of the guide rollers 57 and 58 abut on the second guide rail surfaces 55b and 56b. Thus, by utilizing the guide rollers 57 and 58 utilized as guides in a vertical direction themselves for the side fluctuation control of the door, the fluctuation control of the door 7 and the smooth elevation and lowering of the door 7 are simultaneously achieved with the simplification of the guide means G.
