PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pontoon which can make the gradient of a connecting bridge gentle without elongating a span of the same, is simple in structure, and low in construction costs. SOLUTION: The pontoon comprises a stage 12 having a connection portion 23 connected to the connecting bridge 20 extending from the quay 21 on an upper surface of a body 11 of the pontoon 10 and a slope 13 slanted downward from the stage 12 to the upper face of the body 11 on a side closer to the quay 21. The gradient of the slope 13 and the connecting bridge 20 can be set in a range specified according to the Traffic Barrier-free Law. Further the height of the stage 12 can be set while the pontoon 10 is located in a quay-side zone falling out of navigation waters, and preferably steps 14 are arranged from the stage 23 to the upper surface of the body 11 in parallel with the slope 13 in addition to the same.
