PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alcoholic gel composition( gelatinized alcoholic composition, alcohol-containing gel ) obtained by gelatinizing a liquid material comprising alcohol compound(s) with a gelatinizer such as a fatty acid salt, with small compounding amounts of the gelatinizer component and water, having moderate gel strength, shape retainability and stability even if adding no plasticizer or the like, and causing no problem of syneresis. SOLUTION: The alcoholic gel composition is such that the gelatinizer component comprises (1) a fatty acid salt with a 16-24C acyl group or an N-acylglutamic acid salt and (2) polyvinylpyrrolidone or a vinylpyrrolidone-vinyl acetate copolymer. The contents of these subcomponents(1) and (2) in the alcoholic gel are about 0.5-3 wt.% respectively. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
