PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an odorless and environmentally friendly spray for manicure enabling a uniform nail film of good appearance to be formed easily without coating unevenness in giving the nails a manicure or pedicure, and also enabling such a nail film to be removed without using any toxic nail polish remover. SOLUTION: The spray for manicure comprises a water-soluble ester compound as a film-forming component and ethanol as a solvent. In this spray, the water-soluble ester compound is one or two kinds selected from methyl vinyl ether/maleic anhydride copolymer monoalkyl esters and methyl vinyl ether/maleic acid ethyl ester copolymers.
