PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag-packing machine which does not engage with an article when sealing. SOLUTION: The bag-packing machine is structured so that a bag holding mechanism 16 provided on a disk 14 is equipped with a mounting member on which a bag 28 is to be mounted and a pair of holding members 44 and 44 for holding both side rims of the bag 28 on a tilting table 40 rotatably provided on support members 38 and 38 erected on the disk 14. A guide member 50 by which a guided member 52 provided on the tilting table 40 is guided is provided on a framework 12. The guide member 50 is equipped with a displacement part 50a corresponding to first and second sealing stations S3. The bag-packing machine is structured so that the tilting table 40, the mounting member and the holding members 44 and 44 are tilted when the guided member 52 is moved along the displacement part 50a, and that the bag 28 is tilted with its bottom facing downward and is displaced into a tilted posture with the bag mouth 28a facing slantly upward. Thus the article M in the bag comes closer to the bottom of the bag, and a space without the article M present can be demarcated on the side of a mouth 28b. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
