PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition capable of removing the contaminant such as a deteriorated resin, a mold deposit or the like adhered to the surface of a mold at the time of injection molding of a plastic, safer against the human body and environment and possible to be handled. SOLUTION: The detergent composition is used for washing a mold for molding and processing a plastic and contains water being a solvent, a water soluble phosphate such as potassium pyrophosphate or the like dissolved in water, liquid paraffin and a surfactant. The compounding amount of the phosphate is preferably 1-15 wt.% of the whole. If the compounding amount of water is set to 50 wt.% or above, this detergent composition becomes a detergent belonging to non-combustibility in the Fire Service Law. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
