The pneumatic transporting device, especially for bulk material, has a base (3) consisting of separate ribs which each have wedge-form pointed break-off edges and round inflow edges. The break-off edges of the ribs are located in the feed passage (1) over the inflow edges of the next rib and overlap it so that narrow gaps extend in the flow direction between the ribs. The ribs are curved downwards in the direction of feed and so form an altogether curved base for the feed passage.
