The cubic shaped box for the holding of tree cakes has on the inside a tube plug-in system consisting of two inner side components secured by securing rails extending all around, and from the middle of these inner side components extend two tubes of different thickness one upon the other and which are fitted one to the other, with the tree cakes attached on the assembled tubes. On the outside two reinforced stacking grooves extend on the top section of the box in the longitudinal direction, and on the bottom section are raised stacking grooves so that boxes can be interconnected with an accurate fit for stacking.
