The door assembly, without a threshold, has at least one door panel (1) and a seal (D) which can be lowered, under the bottom end surface (10) of the door panel. The seal has an upper laying surface (20), bonded to the door panel by an adhesive. The seal has a guide profile (2) of metal or plastics bonded to the bottom of the door panel, open at the bottom, containing a sliding sealing bar (3) with a carrier profile (30) and an elastomer sealing profile (31).
