<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head having a comparatively large moment of inertia and a good directional performance by optimizing its bulge design. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club head comprises a bulge on the face area thereof. It has a moment of inertia of 3,000 to 5,500 (g×cm<SP>2</SP>). The bulge shape is such that the area separated within 10 mm from the center C of the face toward the toe and heel directions of the club head is in curvature radius comparatively smaller than the area separated over 10 mm therefrom and both the curvature radiuses are set within a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
