PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an ink supply tube from being caught and to prevent generation of collision sound by suppressing rough movement of the ink supply tube when it is deformed as a carriage moves. SOLUTION: A carriage guide shaft 27 penetrates a carriage 25 and the bend 32a of a sheet discharge frame 32 supports the sliding part 25a of the carriage 25 from below. An ink tube 43 for supplying ink from an ink cartridge to a recording head 26 is arranged to form a curved passage part between the holding section 46 of a frame 3 on the basic body side and the holding section 45 of the carriage 25 on the carriage side thus having a substantial U-shape. Since the holding section 45 on the carriage side is arranged such that the ink tube 43 is extended toward the inside of the U-shape, the curved passage part in the U-shape is prevented from inflating outward.
