PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the trouble of a car locking device while reducing the cost of equipment of the device. SOLUTION: The car locking device 5 has a box-shaped housing 60 having an opening section in one surface, a lock plate 52 lifted to the opening section directed to the ground surface side in the housing 60 and lowered from the lifting point, an inclined plate 80 inclined in the vertical direction of a surface on the side straightly moved to the opening section, a sliding up and down member 40 and a cylinder 30 connected to the member 40. The member 40 is constituted so that the lock plate 52 is placed on the member 40, the member 40 has an inclined section 40a at the same angle as the inclination of the inclined plate 80 and the inclined section 40c is lifted and lowered in the housing 60 along the plate 80. The cylinder 30 is constituted so that the cylinder 30 is arranged obliquely to the vertical direction and the member 40 is moved up and down by using a cylinder rod 35 shrunk in the direction that the inclined section 40c is brought into contact with the plate 80 and the direction that the inclined section 40c is separated from the plate 80.
