PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven/knitted fabric improved with its air permeability in a good performance on becoming wet without changing its dimension so much as compared with that of its dried state. SOLUTION: This woven/knitted fabric improved with its air permeability on becoming wet is characterized by consisting of a water-absorbing self elongation yarn and non-self elongation yarn, and showing≤0.9 (A/B) by setting the yarn length of the water-absorbing self elongation yarn under an atmosphere of 65 %RH humidity as (A), while setting the yarn length of the non-self elongation yarn as (B).
