PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new polycarbonate resin having excellent abrasion resistance, especially a new polycarbonate resin having excellent durability and cost performance as a charge transport polymer material for organic photoreceptors. SOLUTION: This polycarbonate resin is characterized by comprising at least structural units represented by general formulas (1) and (2) [R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>are each identically or differently an aryl, a 1 to 6C substituted or non-substituted alkyl, a substituted or non-substituted aryl; Ar<SB>1</SB>, Ar<SB>2</SB>and Ar<SB>3</SB>are each a substituted or non-substituted arylene; R<SB>3</SB>is a 1 to 6C substituted or non-substituted alkyl or a substituted or non-substituted aryl; the structural unit represented by general formula (2) further includes a case of a structural unit represented by general formula (3)].
