PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag holder for a refuse container capable of easily charging garbage and effectively utilizing the bag. SOLUTION: The bag holder 10 consists of a pole 20 slidable and detachable relative to the side surface of the refuse container 14 by the holder 26 and a ring 30 slidably and detachably provided relative to the pole 20 through a fixture 40. The bore diameter of the ring 30 can be adjusted by moving a slider 36 and approximately horizontally maintained relative to a sink 12 by a receiving part 48 of the fixture 40. The ring 30 can be lifted up by making a pin 46 as a fulcrum. When an opening part 52 of the bag 50 is hanged on a ring upper edge 30A, the bore diameter is adjusted so as to fit to the size of the opening part 52, its height is adjusted by sliding the pole 20 and the ring 30, and it is fixed at a desired position, the opening part 52 of the bag 50 is stabilized and the bag 50 can be maintained to be in an erected state.
