The evaporator defrost condensate (8) is collected in a closed vessel (1) through an inlet (6) and is vaporized by high frequency or ultrasonic waves from an electrode (7) and the vapor is driven (8,9) by a fan (3) to an outlet (5). An overflow outlet (4) is also provided.
