HOLLOW FIBER MEMBRANE SUBMODULE AND MODULE INCLUDING THE SAME

A hollow fiber membrane submodule comprising a hollow fiber membrane element to which a collection member for fluid having permeated the membrane is adhered through peripheral parts thereof discontinuously fixed in fitted-together form by means of snaps, the fluid collection member being reversibly detachable from the hollow fiber membrane element. Thus, at membrane replacement, it is practicable to replace the hollow fiber membrane element and fit the fluid collection member to the new hollow fiber membrane element for the re-use thereof. Further, the snaps can be positioned in the center of the hollow fiber membrane submodule in a pressure container, with the snaps discontinuously arranged, so that a flow channel for concentrated fluid can be provided.
