[PROBLEMS] A shaft tube for a writing implement, the shaft tube being easy to assemble. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A shaft tube (1) for a writing implement has a holding portion (3) and a grip member (G). The holding portion (3) has an engagement portion (4) for grip installation and is smaller in diameter than other portions of the shaft tube. The grip portion (G) has a to-be-engaged portion (8b) engaging the engagement portion (4) for grip installation and is installed on the holding portion (3) with the engagement portion (4) for grip installation and the to-be-engaged portion (8b) engaged with each other for circumferential positioning. The shaft tube (1) is formed by two-color forming using a hard resin (8) and a soft resin (9). A portion of the hard resin (8) is exposed to the outside and the hard resin and the soft resin are exposed to the inside. The shaft tube (1) has the grip member (G) having the to-be-engaged portion (8b) formed on the hard resin exposed to the inside.
