<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared floodlight for a vehicle in which a light-up state of an infrared light source can be visually confirmed. <P>SOLUTION: The infrared floodlight 32 includes a light source 31 emitting infrared rays and a visible luminous phosphor 32. The visible luminous phosphor 32 is placed at a position where the infrared rays from the light source is irradiated to receive the light and then emit visible light. By this constitution, a user of the vehicle confirms a light-up state by visually checking the visible light. Furthermore, since the light-up state is confirmed by the visible light easily, there is little possibility that the light-up state is unrecognized is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
