<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for selling merchandise such as volatile oil for preventing regular customers from going away, and for enclosing new customers. <P>SOLUTION: This merchandise selling method comprises a step to accept the information of the purchase merchandise name, quantity and purchase store name from a purchase terminal or a store terminal, and to register it in a purchase merchandise database by applying points corresponding to a purchase price, a step to acquire the merchandise name, the residual quantity and the number of points of the merchandise purchased by a purchaser from the purchase merchandise database in response to an inquiry from the store terminal which has received a use request to the merchandise purchased by the purchaser, and to return it to the store terminal at the inquiry origin and a step to decide whether the purchase store of the merchandise is its own store or another store in the store terminal which has received the use request, and to present that the use is available within the range of the residual quantity to the purchaser when it is its own store, and to decide the number of points of the merchandise of the purchaser when it is another store, and to present that the use is available or unavailable to the purchaser according to the number of points. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
