<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage tank, which collects a liquid leaking from a bottom, and detects the liquid leakage and discharges the collected liquid without fail. <P>SOLUTION: The storage tank 2 comprises a tank body 3 and the double bottom 4, and the tank body 3 is composed of a roof plate 8, a bottom plate, and a side plate. The roof plate 8 and the bottom plate 21 are welded to the side plate 22, respectively. The double bottom 4 is composed of a bottom plate 21 and a side plate 22, which are welded together. The bottom plate 21 is provided with a liquid discharge port on the left side and with latticed reinforcing ribs having respective cutouts. The bottom plate 21 is sloped for liquid flow in a direction A where the liquid discharge port is at the lowest level.
