PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP and ordinary telephone set which has functions of telephone communication and facsimile communication using an ordinary telephone line as they are and is adaptive to IP telephone when necessary. SOLUTION: The IP and ordinary telephone set (1) is composed of a voice communication part (21), a facsimile communication part, and a switching part (25) which can selectively switch a connection between an analog input/output terminal (9) and the voice communication part (21), a connection between the analog input/output terminal (9) and the facsimile communication part (23), or a connection between an IP input/output terminal (8) and the voice communication part (21).
