PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna system advantageous to a high gain without being affected by the presence of a radome. SOLUTION: The antenna system is provided with: an electronic circuit section 1 including an antenna circuit; the radome 2 made of a synthetic resin material and for covering the electronic circuit section 1; and a patch antenna 4 with a patch electrode 11 and located on a dielectric board 10 at least part of which comprises a ceiling part 2b of the radome 2, and a ground electrode 8 is provided to a wide region of the ceiling part 2b including its bottom face. Thus, the antenna system is obtained, wherein a patch electrode 11 acting like a radiation element is exposed to the outside of the radome 2. For example, a laminated body comprising: a resin board 13 made of a synthetic resin material whose dielectric constant is equal to that of the radome 2 and on the ceiling face of which the patch electrode 11 is provided; and a thin plate part of the ceiling part 2b of the radome 2 is adopted for the dielectric board 10 and the resin board 13 inserted in a recessed part 3 of the radome 2 has only to be placed on and fixed to the thin plate part of the ceiling part 2b.
