As an alternative valve mechanism the valve may be at the end of the connector member and operated directly through a rounded shank (81a) coaxial with its stem (81) as in Figs. 5 and 6 (not shown). Electrical connections may be made by means of a slidable spring urged contact-holder block as in Figs. 5 and 6.
