PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generating device capable of efficiently increasing discharge amount of ion while restraining the amount of ozone generated, and to provide an electric apparatus equipped with the ion generating device. SOLUTION: The ion generating device has a transformer 202 connected to an ion generating element 12, a diode bridge (203a to 203d) rectifying an alternating current voltage in full-wave, time constant circuits (204, 205) charged by the rectified voltage, and a rectifying element 206 of which the state of turned on / turned off is switched in accordance with the charging voltage of the time constant circuit.
