PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine including an exhaust apparatus of combustion gas with a simple structure which absorbs fluctuation in the amount of exhaust gas without disadvantageously acting on the engine performance and which is applicable to any engine speed. SOLUTION: The four-stroke supercharge type internal combustion engine includes at least two cylinders 12 provided with combustion chambers 14, a suction means 16 containing a suction pipe 20 combined with a cutoff means (not shown), an exhaust means 18 containing an exhaust pipe 22 equipped with a cutoff means (not shown), and an exhaust gas collecting means having the pipe 22 and at least one manifold 24.
