PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor to assure capability for favorable residue exhaustion, mixing and burst of bubbles for final condensation of a polyester mixed in a range of limiting viscosity value of 50-150 cm3/g. SOLUTION: The reactor for discontinuous production of a condensation polymer from a precursor of oligomer under removal of low molecular weight condensation products and evaporation is a conical vessel for the condensation reaction capable of additional heating equipped with a single or double spiral stirrer 6, heated with a jacket and having an opening angle ofα= 20-120°of the conical vessel.
