PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a chlorosilane compound, by which a disiloxane compound can be reacted in good conversion to produce the chlorosilane compound in good productivity. SOLUTION: This method for producing the chlorosilane compound is characterized by reacting a disiloxane compound represented by formula (1): R<SP>1</SP>R<SP>2</SP>R<SP>3</SP>Si-O-SiR<SP>4</SP>R<SP>5</SP>R<SP>6</SP>(R<SP>1</SP>to R<SP>6</SP>are each independently an alkyl, an aryl or a halogen atom) with phosgene in the presence of hydrogen hydrochloride. It is preferable that the reaction is carried out in the coexistence of an N, N-disubstituted carboxamide.
