PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine equipped with a hydraulic clutch wherein a large bank angle of a car body is secured by improving arrangement of shafts, etc. SOLUTION: The engine is equipped with the hydraulic clutch for carrying out intermittent operation of a clutch mechanism through oil pressure transmitted from a master cylinder to a slave cylinder 116. A shaft center of the slave cylinder 116 is arranged, seen from an axial direction of a crankshaft 47, within an area formed by connecting a rotational shaft center of the crankshaft 47, a rotational shaft center of a counter shaft 118, and a shaft center of a shift spindle 121 which is a shift arm rotating shaft of a change mechanism 120.
