PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a high-speed development process of compressed data and a high-speed data transfer to a liquid ejecting head at low cost, so that the liquid ejection executing speed of a liquid ejecting apparatus is considerably increased compare with conventional cases at low cost. SOLUTION: A data transferring apparatus 10 is provided with an ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) 4. The ASIC 4 incorporates an interface unit 27, a head controlling unit 33, a receiving buffer unit 42, and a DECU 41, and each of the above described units is connected to a system bus SB so that data transfer can be performed. The DECU 41 incorporates a development processing controller 412 having a decode circuit 28 for subjecting compressed record data to hardware development and a line buffer 281 for storing developed record data.
