PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a urine treatment method constituted not only to filter and deodorize urine becoming waste finally but also to remove bacteria therefrom in a recovcery process before sanitarily evaporating and discharging the same, in a bio-toilet having a system for separately recovering fecal matter and urine to subject them to microbial decomposition treatment. SOLUTION: In this urine treatment method, urine recovered separately from fecal matter is subjected to filtering, deodorizing and bacteria removing treatments in a urine recovery container and a moisture recovery container using a filter medium mixed with a deodorant and a water absorbing material mixed with an antibacterial agent before evaporated and sanitarily discharged.
