A device, method, system and computer readable medium allows for selectively obtaining a cellular network attribute, such as a DNS address. In an embodiment of the present invention, a device, such as a cellular telephone, includes a processor and memory capable to store a software component for selectively obtaining a cellular network attribute from a cellular network responsive to a first terminal in a short distance wireless network communicating with the device.
