Shaped articles are made by injection moulding a thermoplastic polyester material comprising poly-(1,4-dimethylolcyclohexane terephthalate) and 0À5-0À4% by weight (calculated on the polyester) of one or more nucleating agents having a particle size of 0À3-5À0 Á. Nucleating agents are, e.g. TiO 2 , carbon black, alkaline earth metal salts (e.g. CaCO 3 ), finely divided metals, talc, china clay, poly-(4-methylpentene), or copolymers of ethylene and acrylic acid optionally in admixture with phthalimide or durene.
