The safety system for a bending press comprises a light beam transmitter, e.g. an LED (46), mounted below the ram (32). A photoreceptor (44) is fitted with a diaphragm (52), allowing the width of the area monitored by the beam to be reduced. Independent claim are included for: (a) a moving component fitted with the safety system; and (b) a method for monitoring a moving component using the system. |
