PURPOSE:To obtain an elliptical polarizing plate which is good without generating a deviation between a phase difference film and a polarizing film even under high-temp. and high-humidity conditions at the time of packaging and is excellent in repeelability and visual field angle at the time of mounting by specifying the ratio of the thickness of a first tacky adhesive layer and the thickness of a second tacky adhesive layer to a values of a specific range. CONSTITUTION:The ratio d1/d2 of the thickness d1 of the tacky adhesive layer l and the thickness d2 of the tacky adhesive layer 2 of the elliptical polarizing plate consisting of the tacky adhesive layer 1/the polyvinyl alcohol phase film/ the tacky adhesive layer 2/the polarizing film is specified to 0.1 to 0.95. The tacky adhesive to be used for the tacky adhesive layers is not particularly limited and any tacky adhesives including acryl, rubber, polyolefin and silicone tacky adhesives are usable, among which the acrylic tacky adhesive is more preferable in optical applications. The more specific constituting components of the acrylic tacky adhesives include soft monomer components having a low glass transition temp., hard comonomer components having a high glass transition temp. and further, a small amt. of functional group-contg. monomer components according to need. |
