<p>The device is assembled of two rotating cutting units (10, 12) positioned opposite each other with their blades (18) meshing. Each of the units (10, 12) is of a conical shape, provided with radial grooves (16) for the accommodation of the blades (18) at their outer ends. The blades (18) have convex outer surfaces (22, 24) exceeding the outer contours of the unit (10, 12) serving as cutting edges and adjustable in length if required. Rectangular recesses (26) located between each pair of blades (18) can be used for the removal of shavings.</p> |
