Cooling of a mould for compression or injection moulding, or expanding; or of extruders, by circulating coolant in a closed circuit through cavities in the mould. Coolant is at a pressure lower than atmospheric, so that part of it is vapourised. The vapour may be withdrawn and replaced with fresh liquid, or condensed in the external circuit. |
